KAPS is excited to offer our 2nd Annual Plat Contest to be held during the 2025 KAPS Annual Conference!
There will be no formal judging process. Conference attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite plat by scanning a QR code and voting electronically. Voters will be encouraged to consider content, data relevance, accuracy of scale, layout innovation, interpretability, applicability, and neatness in presentation.
First, second, and third place winners will be announced during lunch on Friday. You do not have to be present to win. KAPS will pay the submission fee for the first, second, and third place winners to enter the NSPS National Map/Plat Design Competition if the entry meets the NSPS contest criteria.
Plats must have been created after June 30, 2024.
Entries will only be accepted electronically in PDF format .
All entries must be submitted at least 30 days before the conference. Submission deadline: August 18, 2025.
Maximum map size is 36”x48”.
No more than two entries per licensee will be considered.
